Our goal
artMATAKANA represents a range of artists from well-known to exciting new emerging artists.
While our emphasis is on paintings, there is also a selection of sculpture, ceramics, glass, jewellery, photography & mixed media.
We are committed to promoting contemporary New Zealand Art, with ongoing exhibitions and new works continuously displayed.
How to find us
Just 2 minutes north of Matakana on the road to Leigh, artMATAKANA is located in the very picturesque Country Park.
The Country Park has lots to offer for the family, including restaurant, café, craft Co-Op, children's play area, animals, pony & miniature train rides. The Park also holds a Farmers Market on Saturday and Sunday during the summer period.
